I rode up and over Patterson Pass (PP) today to meet the Livermore Cycletrons for the usual Thursday ride down Old Altamont, up and over Carroll-Flynn and then two laps of the Wente Bumps.

Unfortunately, it was super windy climbing PP so I ended up crossing paths with the 'Trons later than planned, on their descent down Flynn Rd to Patterson Pass Rd. Two guys were off the front so I let them go ahead to wait for the pack. A half mile later, I hopped on with the three chasers as they came by me.

The small group today made for a good team effort and we eventually caught the leaders halfway through the second Bump loop - a combination of our steady tempo and them sitting up.
